Agreed the Cowl Specter hood needs another 1/2-1" oh height... Not full on drag/muscle car but a little more noticable.

I've torn through two CS diff mounts, now I'm making my own. The CS diff mounts are probably fine for stock power levels.
I had the same issue..... My bushing's werent as tight into where they were supposed to be as they could have been. I tightened those things up and no more clinking from the shift linkage hitting anything underneath.

Laygo... Congrats man. Saw your thread about the hail damage. Sorry to hear that!!!

Biggie... We are on the same page. For that reason, im almost willing to go EC and deal with no window squirters... lol

The squirters was the deal breaker for me. I do too much daily driving to go w/o being able to clean the windshield. I like the EC with cowl/vent, especially for the price compared to SW, but I had to have those squirters.

... you could always put squirters on yourself. Plenty of hoods (for other vehicles) just come with the holes drilled for them.

Specter werks is the same way. Predrilled holes for the washers.

Once you get yours installed LAYGO let us know how it goes.

I think I'm gonna go EC. More aggressive to me which is what I want and I'll either leave the squirters off or have the paint/body shop mount em for me.

Well, this is an insurance deal. Insurance is paying for a certain amount of work on the hood & it doesn't include drilling/mounting squirters. I'm already forking over a lot of moola for this car that I've "owned" since 4/9, but have only driven for 5wks!

I'd get the EC hood and try to mount the squirters on the under side of the cowl...

That would be nice. I may just leave them off. I think I've used my squirters just a handful of times and I've owned the car for a year and a half now. Lol

I don't think the cost to mount squirters would be over the top. Typical shop labor time is 40/hour. I can't imagine it taking more than two hours.

I've had my car for a month as of the 15th and had someone back into my front bumper on the 9th. I know the feeling.

I'm taking advantage of this and having the hood refinished and the grille PC'd.

WUTFUX? I called the body shop today & SW is saying 2 weeks before the hood is available. I just called EC, if they have one available, I'm canceling the SW order & getting the vented cowl from EC.

That's good though. The EC is cheaper and looks sick!

Here are a few pics I've taken with my phone.

Do the vents come installed? Or do you have to add them in yourself? If it requires adding them in, then I'm less enthralled by this option, but wouldn't mind the hood w/o the vents. Just curious.

Read it before. Read it now.

Doesn't make sense to me. Doesn't answer my question.

From what i understand, i think it comes with the vents covered but they are there. U can choose to paint the hood and run it without the vents as a basic cowl or have the vents made functional like the ones in the pic on the red car.
