theres a very simple solution to all this..go to a custom bike shop and ask them for the universal lenth line needed.. they also should have most of the fittings needed to make one of these. the only fitting that really matters is to match the threads of the slave.

I just got my trans out last night. Come out pretty easy for me by myself on jacks. I have an LS7 clutch and flywheel (not light weight) and the LAPD remote bleeder. The main feed line had to be bent a little bit to fit through the existing notch in the trans, but the LAPD C6 (bent) remote bleeder looks to be off. I have a straight shot from the bleed port on the new C6 slave to out of the trans notch. See pics I will try to attach. I also have a factory notch on the bell housing which looks to be inline with where the bleeder runs through, dont have bell housing off yet, it got late. What I see is that the bend in the bleeder can only turn towards the bell housing, and I am hoping the notch in the bell housing from the factory is big enough to let me use the bleeder I have. I hope to find out how not to notch the bell housing with the LS7 slave. May have to get a straight bleeder.

Found this on that other site

http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...nder-line.html

So my notches may be off. I will have to pull the bell housing tonight and should have all the pics ready to show whatever is going on by then.

Default Straight one

Talked to lolly earlier, he had to straighten his where the bend is. I am in the process of getting the straight one now. Hope it will make the bend coming out of the trans and going up, not much clearance between the hole and the body with the trans in place.

More pics of why I am getting the straight one. The c6 fitting I got appears to be right, a little loose but the stock one is too when unscrewing it.

Bringing back an old thread to add some useful data.

If you order online do not pay with PayPal (or if you do call the next day to confirm the order) apparently they do not get notification of orders paid for with PayPal (hence my car sitting on jack stands for two weeks waiting for a part that was never shipped.

If you are swapping in the LS7 slave, call them and tell them you need the straight bleeder, I believe the default for the CTS-V is the bent bleeder (this may work with the spacer and stock slave, but i can't confirm) it does not work with the LS7 slave. The straight one is perfect and requires no clearanceing. (this was the third week my car was on jackstands waiting to get the correct part)

Placing this information in the comments section of the order online (even stating i needed the straight bleeder did not help)

So to sum it up, do not order online, call and tell them exactly what you need, and you should get it fairly quickly, and have a good product at the end of the day.
