those pics are from the Whis's thread a year or so ago.. not an isolated incident there are at least 3 of these documented on the forums... I believe he patched it up but the ALt wire replacement is like a $900 from the dealer

/\ well done IMO.. i used alot of heat shielding. DEI COOL TUBES + Heat shielding AL tape.

I need to check and see where that wire runs on my car. I didnt see anythign like that near my headers
