Have you tested these in any 1000+ hp CTSVs?

What warranty is offered?

I have had one of Franks (DSS) carbon fiber shafts on my car since early august testing and the driveshaft has been flawless. The build quality is second to none and the customer service is the best around.

I can't say enough about Frank and his staff.

My CTS-V has a 1900 TVS on it and pushing 500RWHP. The balance is perfect, and absolutely no added vibrations are induced into the car.

I can't speak for a 1000 HP CTS-V but I can't see why this shaft wouldn't perform to those levels.

if you find one ill supply the shaft, the Tube used in this job was a Special high Modulus wind Carbon, the specs were a 4500lb car with 1000hp and 1000lbs of torque. check out how we do our carbon shafts, its a bit different than most and we have outstanding results with them (click here)

Was there any problem during the install clearing the exhaust?

You let a few teasers out (HEX, fuel system, etc) but never did a thread about your build. Mind sharing?

No problem at all with the exhaust.

Good to know. I exploded a coupler during a dyno run and may have tweaked my drive shaft. I now have a vibration between 25-40, but it has an aluminum coupler in it now. If I can't resolved it with a different coupler, I may go this route.

Ahh the rubber guibo thing... those explode a lot on corvettes once added HP and age get to them.

DSS sells an upgraded coupler on the corvette, but the carrier bearings on our cars eventually fail and the one piece carbon is the way to go IMO

I just need to clear the holidays and then I'll probably got that route.

I might be getting one sooner than I thought. I had to bring the car home tonight. It's not drivable. I sounds like the carrier bearing is gone. The clunking at 25 mph feels like the car is going to rattle apart.

I'll put her up on the blocks tomorrow and take a look at the mounts too.

Good call, You'll be so impressed with it that you'll want to display it somewhere instead of putting it underneath the car its that nice.
