About 3 years ago i did this on one of my 2005 Vs.. I havent broke it yet and i beat the crap out of it often.. It is + 1000hp with the juice.. I will have to find some photos of how i did it back then, It hasnt broke yet, so maybe it might be what you should do for the guys???? The pictures MIGHT be on this forum from way back then also if someone could find it?

HMM off hand, i think they might have been the center main shafts of a 727 chrylser transmission then machined to fit the right spline on the other end???? Again, i need to find all the notes and refresh my memory a bit on it. The center bolts in with no mods to the cage. The Front was made to fit the stock driveshaft.

Have you ran the 05 with 1000hp yet? Im tryign to see what the currect record is for the fastest V1? Fastest I have seen was on here and was like 11.4 or 11.6.

Just FYI, im not involved in that pissing contest thread about the 09s so im actually asking a legit question.

No i have never ran that car at the track in its current setup. I wanted to but just never had the time. Usually i just give people rides in it every once in a while and then it just sits... I usually put on 30 miles a year on it. lol

The fastest i ever ran in that car was probabably an 11.0 back before when it was just 700hp and a **** rear end. I normally dont post or brag about my times.. I never really got to into drag racing the older ones, Each time cost me a rear end... People got tired of helping me push it off the track.. Doing a search from a few years back on posts should bring up all that excitement... I always had more fun with the vipers at the track,

The only reason why i did post info for the 9 second run i did was because i was proving that i was able to do it with the combo i set up for a customer...

Ok, so update time!

Well first off, I got laid off from work. They marched everyone in and told all the staff they were being let go because business isn't good. So there goes 10 years.

Decided to get busy on stuff I've been putting off and get working on the Dana 44 cover/mount.

I'm happy to say the cnc file is 99% complete. I've been looking for a cnc locally to cut this thing and with all my spare time as soon as I find one I will have some serious caddy **** for the V group.

The load tests are very encouraging. Hoping to really beat on this thing asap. Still need to get the 410 ci installed. Had a few "parts compatibility problems".

Need to find a stock diff ctsv in Austin to see anything else that will need to be modified.

With any luck I will have a pic by Friday.
