Decide where you want to make power - Up top or down low - I would suggest getting the grind on a 112 LSA, but they can also grind them on 114 LSA. Depends where you normally want to be in the RPM range. Torque is the key, as that is what you are going to "feel". HP keeps you going. If you are considering heads, go with Tony Mamo, along with the LG set-up. Proven combination - How do I know - I have had multiple cars made by them.

I hope that this helps. LG Motorsports is a great shop. Tony Mamo is the king of airflow for heads. It is important to match you set-up so you get the optimal power.

You seem to know a good bit about them...any idea what cam from them would give good gains on an NA block with all the bolt ons except the heads but would also play nice with lets say 4-7psi turbo boost in the future if I decide to go that route. Last thing I want to do is pull it after its in since I am not doing the labor. I want it around 230. under .6 and a 112. I know that g5x1 is on some maggie setups at least on youtube and its 128/132 .58smthg and a 112.

Turbos and boost in general despise overlap. So find a cam with a higher LSA to help out with that.

Lg has a cam just for boosted applications, its their g5xe cam. When i was looking for a cam they said the x1,x2 and the x3 would be fine with boost, but with the overlap (like itsslow said) they would not yeild optimum results. So if your goal is to in the end go with boost then get their g5xe. If your still curious just email them, theyll get right back to you and answer any questions regarding what your intentions are.....

Save yourself some money and get a custom cam ground on your own. LG cams are simply Comp XE-R lobes. X2 is 232/240 on a 112 or 114. X3 is 234/242 on a 112/114. Get a custom cam and your choice of pushrod size with valve springs included for 700 or so from TSP.

I have newer lobes on my custom cam. Comp LSL intake lobe with a LXL exhaust lobe to reduce valvetrain noise. 231/238 duration with .617 and .615 lift on a 114lsa with 2 degrees advance ground in. Saved a few hundred over the G5X2 I wanted.

That was my intention to begin with man I just need to find the right cam that they already make so I know what the specs are to have comp grind a custom. I just feel wrong asking a dealer all sorts of questions about their cam when it's not my intention to buy one from them... Cause its under 400 for a custom grind and another 300 for some decent springs. With pushrods and all id be looking under 800 for everything.
