I mean I have the stock ls7 setup, and i couldn't be happier. He'll if you lived near me I'd just throw it in your **** just for a comparison between the ram and the ls7. But to be honest, when you put a lighter flywheel in, you reap the benefits AND the negatives of a lighter flywheel. Imo, the ls7 is a perfect balance of performance and how the V should feel.

I have the lighter flywheel and I love it no problems at all. I can't say if it is better than the LS7 flywheel cause I have no comparison but it is a monstrous improvement over stock!

I am trying to figure that out too....I am kinda leaning toward the standard LS7 flywheel that Luke says is 26.5 lbs. It's already 20 lbs lighter than our stock one, and this is my daily driver so I don't feel the need to go down to 19 lbs since I'm not racing it.

where is everyone getting their clutch alignment tools at? how about clutch and flywheel bolts? I'm fairly certain the clutch and/or flywheel bolts are torque to yield. I did not receive either in my ls7 "kit".

Because that's wayyy off the mark, especially on your back.
Even if you do one every day that time period would be a challenge, and honestly, very few, if any on this forum have that kind of experience. So telling people who may be attempting a clutch install for the first or second time that they can do it in 3 hours is a farce.
If you did it, cool and congrats. But I would not suggest that's the norm.
