Nate that is correct.

The rubber spacer mod I did because the rear sat just a tad too low for my liking with the MM/HR combo. I basically cut a washer out of high durometer rubber and used it to "shim" up the rear spring slightly. There's a thread with details on it somewhere here and also over on the OTHER cad forum.

Don't think I'll be interested in the spacer mod. If anything, I'll shave the isos in the front to level it lower... Lol

I don't think you'll find much material to shave off up there. At the thinnest points the front spring isolators aren't very thick at all. I think you'd have to lose about 1/4-3/8" up front to match the amount of wheel gap/tuck that you get in the rear.

Experiment and report back though.

Well I wonder if there is a urethane replacement that is thinner for the upper and lower isos...?

I hate to bring this thread back after a month but I'm getting ready to buy a set of H&R springs this week and had one question.

Someone mentioned to check to see if you have the self leveling rear shocks. I thought all the V's had this.
I have read through this thread and another on the cadillac forum but no one mentions not needing spacers because they don't have the self leveling rear. It seems everyone lowers with the springs and spacers. Is this something that needs to be checked?

All V's have self leveling shocks from the factory. Only way you wouldn't have them is if you're running aftermarket shocks which is usually only the case if u spend the big money on a complete coilover setup.

I have some H&R's new in the box. Was going to run them but i bought some staggered TF 20's and im thinking now that i might be better off going with the ground control kit so i have full adjustment capability front and rear to get it sitting right where i need it. With stock wheels, H&R's sit perfect.

I want my wheels painted like these w/ the springs and tires. Sharp car!
