I found a nice little website that gives you permanent URLs for Google Drive files (http://www.gdriveurl.com) so I can embed them now :-D.

It looks like they're going to embed as the full size so you might need to Ctrl & Scroll Down with your scroll wheel, or Ctrl & - to zoom out in your web browser.

Sorry for taking up like an entire page

My wheels came in late this evening. They look awesome. I popped one of the boxes open briefly to take a picture or two before getting everything ready to go to the shop. I'll do a lot of pictures later when I have time (read: when I'm less exhausted from work) to clean the dust and fingerprints off a wheel. I hope to have them mounted by Friday afternoon.

As I mentioned to some of you earlier, I installed slotted DRT rotors with black powdercoated hats. $405 out the door. These things are significantly better quality than the Brembo brake blanks that came with the car. 1.4 lbs heavier in the front and 0.6 lbs heavier in the back. I don't know how much of that weight differential is due to wear and tear on the Brembo blanks, but I measured them with a digital caliper and found that they were one or two millimeters below the replacement spec.

If you want, I can pull the red color channel out of a picture of my car and give you a simulated shot of the piano black Forgestar F14s on a "black" CTS-V.

Does anyone know if forgestar plans on making these with a machined face and black back?

I've finished my first protective coating on the wheels (Klasse Sealant Glaze and will apply the second layer, buff, and install tonight. Pictures will probably have to wait until tomorrow. Here's what they're doing right now:
