Is it possible that you have one of the round, screw-in rubber mounts at the front of the bay jacked way up on that side?

I am about 95% sure you can fit a supercharger under there.....

It could also be the bumper fitment. If you notice the gap is larger under the headlight to the bumper on the side of the hood that there is a larger gap. In both cases it doesn't appear to be the hoods fault.

Under the spectre hood you have room for a 1900 or 2300 no problem.

Don't think so. I asked that the shop address the issue & they said that they did what they could to adjust it.

Also, I had some issues with the gap on of the fender running the length of the hood.

There isn't much room under the headlight. There's a lil "fin" that keeps the bumper up close to the headlight. There's nothing really to adjust as far heights EXCEPT at the hood.

I'm not sure how to address the issue either. I've had my bumper off 3 times already.

Guys ....!! That's not a hood fit issue, It's a bumper fit issue. The hood is fine.
Do to all the behind the scenes work on the intercooler, piping, ect. There just isn't enough space to get it back to fit right. Got tired of screwing with it & just said F***k it .

They forgot to install the intercooler in my ride, but my different manufacturer hood LOOKS identical in the same spot. It's probably more related to the factory variances (see trailing arm rubs on passenger side only w/wider wheels, etc).

They forgot to install the supercharger, the headers, the cam, the heads, the 8.8 rear, the crate LS2, the nitrous, and the muffler bearings.

Fyi If you get the hood with the vents you will have to have the vents molded in at a professional body shop and will take some time....

They said that the vents/rain trays do not come installed & that there's just a hole for them to be installed. Then it's up to the car owner/body shop how they want the vents installed. They can be "frenched" in with no seam, just dropped in, glued & go, or whatever. There is work to be done.
