Well, I went into a local hydraulics shoop with all of my parts and explained to him that I need this fitting, so he suggested cutting the original bleeder in half and brazing a male AN3 to it.

I should have caught it at that point, but I didn't.

Anyone know the thread and pitch of the stock bleeder?

Only difference, I usually have the clutch pumped 10-12 times and then crack the bleeder as the clutch is slowly depressed...I try my best to make sure the clutch does not bottom before closing the bleeder to ensure a continuous flow. Never had a problem with this.
Again great info, thanks for sharing!

I must say, that I expected some flaming as I feel this is REALLY dumb on my part. lol

^^ It's ok. I made the same mistake for a couple of frustrating hours one Saturday. I finally figured it out on my own.

The fitting on the remote bleeder you purchased doesn't thread into the slave? It's supposed to.

No sir! I wish it had. I bought it from Speedway and was not spec'd for a V, it was for a 4th gen Camaro and I searched for differences in the bleeder screw, but could not find any, so for the price difference I gambled and lost.
