Anyone have any experience. I love my V and love the Ls motor, but my buddy always calls me when he gets something in that I might like.
I have done some research and I am familiar with them as well. I have driven a regular STS, but was just wondering if anyone had any experience with them.
Thanks guys!

I don't but let us know how you like it! I've always thought they look a little better than the CTS but I just don't like the size and engine. The STS with an LS9 would be awesome though.

The 2007 regular STS drove great; I had a 2003 regular CTS at the time and the similarities were there and inherent since they are on the same platform.
I love the CTS, but wanted more room, but the STS is 500 lbs heavier, but just as fast as the CTSV, but the gas mileage SUCKS!
I am still going to drive it though. It's not on the lot for sale yet, but he will let me drive it as it will help him sell it.
I will update everyone fo sho!

Let us know. There is a guy running around over here with a charcoal grey one with some mods. I dont think its that fast though. I know he has some nice *** wheels on it and the front one is cratered with a huge *** bend in the lip....
Nice cars though.

The STS is like 10" longer than the CTS, of which like 2" makes it into rear-seat legroom. It's roomier, but not by very much. And it is a ****-ton heavier. I think they have the same diff issues, if not worse. But without the (expensive but still available) option of swapping to something else.
Engine mods are likely rarer too, if that matters. The engine is extremely rare, but I bet it is smooth as hell. I imagine GM made fewer LC3's than they did LT5's.
The '08+ V is the one to have, they finally added in the HUD that was available on the regular V8 STS, along with most all of the other options. Though the V is missing cooled seats and radar cruise that the STS has available.
