It didn't seem like a big deal to me, but when you break it down like that, it's kinda mind numbing.

The calipers don't seem as gold as the ones GM was selling a while back

Shows a bunch of V2's with really low miles, but rebuildable titles due to being a "racing vehicle"

Anyone wana fill me in a little bit?
I went and looked at one of the 2009 models about a year ago. It was ragged to hell with 7k miles. No warranty. The brakes were heat stressed like nothing Ive ever seen. I thought they had yellow calipers at first and then realized it was the heat that turned them yellow.

The newer ones supposedly are being required to have a salvage title per GM. I dont have any proof. Its just what I read.

Keep in mind though that like said earlier they are very very hard miles with no speed limits. Plan on new tires, brakes..discs and pads, complete fluid change. and another 3g for unplanned repairs. If your going to turn it into a race car pay 32-35k for it and then upgrade all that crap since you dont have to worry about a warranty.

Knowing what you said. 40k is a little pricey. We know those parts aren't cheap.

Speaking for him, I am not. I just hate when newbies post asinine comments like you did. And I never even met the guy, just making fun of him on here I am such a **** with a 07 Truck Motor V.

I have awalys been “taken advantage” of when buying a car from a dealer. I grew up selling cars and motorcycles with my dad. So I know how the business works. I don't fault them for trying to sell a car that is their job after all. But I am just smart enough to know that I was abused by my dad. So the truth will be stretched.

I am 26 years old...what’s your point. I bet in my short adult life I have been taken advantage of many times. And more than likely lived more then you have in you pitiful excuse for an exist that you have. I have you jerk off in my mouth for lube when I look back at how sad and pathetic my life has been. Well, that is after I pop a couple Viagra to cure the ED I got when I had my nuts removed. Sexual abuse comes with being an alter boy...HELLO FATHER!

Good luck...maybe that’s what you should have done before you just spewed your garage of a comment. Good luck in your endeavor...hopefully they will treat me like the lady I am.
Wow glad you cleared that up..

Just one question,
Your car is named BLACK BETTY? (hilarious) Did you name her yourself or did you mom help you?

Default salvaged

there was a 2012 V 4door black raven with about 2,650 miles perfest shape for BUY IT NOW $ 42,000.00...in Ca. sold with salvage title cause it was used as a race demo and GM had the cars titles as salvaged so there would be no warranty.....

Anyways, I have to agree with Cole on this one newb. your comment about the dealership is outlandish and paints you as having no clue about things such as this... If you want to fine an honest car salesman then go talk to a homeless man because that quality will have him living on the street without a job faster then you can reply to this post!

P.s. Cole you still drive a car with a truck motor bitch... :-P

OK made me post now. #1. I am pretty disgruntled that I had to type in Toyota Prius c to register for ls1 forum. How about Toyota sucks? Or "if I care about gas mileage I would not be here."
I digress ...
I bought an 07 from CAS. It had been beat and I know my way around a wrench.
Less than 8 k miles I had to replace front bushings and tie rod. Bad cat not covered no warranty means no warranty not even EPA. New front calipers imagine that the back are bad too. Haven't gotten that far. Replaced the clutch with aLS7. Found out I have a good center force dual disc with a flywheel that needs to be refinished, good clutch discs, and a bad pressure plate. (1600 new)
New tires and the rims need to be refinished. Drivers seat motor prolly too. It has been moved a lot but still functioning.
Based on numbers I have read it is one of 102. First owner as the title was from GM.
Now, if you are going to consider the buy you need to go and have eyes on so you know what you are getting. (Duh right? 40g,s). Second if you do not wrench yourself ( I know you do from other posts) forget it.
I do not know #,s for v2's but for me. I am happy at the 17,8 I paid for the v1 and the 3 grand I put into getting her up to par. Now its all about making her mine. (Sticker with the car was 55 plus they have all of the original docs paperwork and the disclaimer from GM stating it was not recall or wrecked)
PS - I have to get that CF clutch back in that thing was a MONSTER! Loved it!
Cheers -
PS - mr black Betty that likes to harass , one day he will have a child that done gone wild. sad thing if he's 20's. He might never understand the reference , most of us lived through it.
(Yes after bar night rant apologies in advance!)

For that price, a car that was modded to remove the warranty seems more interesting than one that was beat to remove the warranty. Like this car is only $2-3k more:

I don't want to fine anyone, I will leave that up to the courts.

As far as used car salesman, you must be another who was taken advantage of, like
your friends, by a dishonest car salesman. I can tell you not all salesmen are dishonest
and even though you may have had it shoved in your *** by one of the bad apples most
car salesmen are honest trustworthy people.

I don't follow your homeless comment, but if you are homeless and living on the street
try looking for a priest like your friend did. Maybe you can be an alterboy too. Same as your bbuddy, cole.

I always wondered about cars like that. Not the mods...you can get good deals on modded cars.

Its the, "Yes it has 55k miles, but I just put a shitload of money into this car with a new forged motor, lots of supporting mods and additional boost 2000 miles ago and now I want to sell it" when I read those ads I think "whats wrong with it that your so disgusted with the project you want to sell the whole car after only 2k miles?"

Im not knocking the ad, Im just suspicious.

I agree 100%. Wouldn't you want to drive the thing after putting all that money into it?

Funny...I bought my car 2 years a go. Maybe she liked my dick so much, it killed her. She was not use to something so amazing. And it funny how she described you as "that shot that should have ended up as a stain on the sheets or in a balled up bit of tissue"...you are a lesson for men everywhere, watch where you shoot, sometimes it is better to aim for the face or just let it go in a wad of tissues.

Its all pink in the middle (maybe with a hit of decay sometimes), and a space heater helps with the cold. No teeth = always a plus.
