hahah so this is why GM gave us a 46lb flywheel! the practicality of the this thread makes me sick.. it already has 4 doors do you really need to use it as a tow vehicle as well haha

Yep, QT50 moped. Gf's grandparents bought it new in the 70s and sat for years in their shed until I wanted a ped for the pits. Its a great little bike, but shitty brakes.

Mine is a Curt pn 11307. As far as I can tell, its more or less the same as the hidden hitch.

I am also an offender. She does not seem to have any issues pulling my bikes.

The V is pretty great at towing bikes around. Better than any other car I've owned in fact.

how much is the car rated to tow? isn't this hitch setup just 4 lag bolts and an inner plate on either side in the trunk pinching the body? I thought about buying a hitch but I'm too scared that the weight of a bike would rip the bolts if a hard stop or something happened.

Ya 6 bolts 200 tongue and 2000 total. Doesn't seem to stress anything when moving from a standstill.

Yup, no issues and I can pass other cars with my setup. My bikes are under 450 and my trailer (bikelug) is under 200.
