Hmm... I was told the BMR's were identical to stock but thicker for strength which actually makes it a tighter fit clearance wise than even the stock arms. If you can order them custom with more clearance, that would be cool.

Any narrower than 10" and it seems pointless to widen them at $200 each plus shipping. It would be nice if we could fit an 11" wheel back there but even 10" wide would be a big improvement!

That's an option for sure. If I go aftermarket, I'd like to go with the same 19's you have or maybe the forgestar's. But... then tires will make it a lot more when I already have good rubber on my stock 18's.
I haven't seen any aftermarket staggered 18's that i like the look of more than the factory wheels.

I used to have the same wheel in a 17 for my SpecV. 17lbs at 17x7

Not a bad looking wheel. Just never been a big fan of multiple thin spoke wheels. I like fatter spokes and less of them. Just my opinion but I still appreciate them and still think they look nice. Doesnt look like stock centercaps will fit them though. And being just .5" wider, they aren't super appealing over the stockers.
Now in the case of the wheels u have, being 19's and staggered, that would be much more appealing to me if I were to go aftermarket. Maybe not those wheels exactly but something in that size.

I think what you'd want to do is maintain the current ride height, and also maintain the shock working within its "normal operating range" but just stiffen the spring so there's less travel. I'd try installing a spring coil spacer somewhere in the rear spring.
Something like one of these http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/attach...on-spacer2.jpg

Depending on the thickness of the spacer it probably wont change your ride height by much, but it will reduce the effective length of the spring and increase the stiffness of the spring as a whole.

springs ride fine. I just want more stiffness in the shocks, mostly for large bumps. Something to just quell that motion. So a slightly stiffer shock with a little spacer(one under the springs lower mount) should be enough i hope.

That coil spacer idea is a good one. I may do that. I want the car low but I'd prefer it to be a little stiffer than normal out back to avoid the *** end sagging too much when I launch it. I know the weight transfer is good but I'm going to run MAP trailing arms and widened stock wheels to 10" with hopefully a 295/35 on em.

That's one way of looking at it. Haha. I have a hard enough time getting in and out of my driveway as it is with the H&R spring height up front. I'd go lower if I could but it would preclude me from being able to drive my car.

The added rubber worked and certainly helped, both the front and back are equal now, I used the 1/2" stuff. Was hoping for a little bit of a rake, but oh welll..
