Default plug wires + headers

ok pacesetter headers are on. plug wires are touching some of the primarys. are there any aftermarket wires slightly longer than stock? or does everyone just put high temp boots on them? and i would love to find a solution at a local auto store so i can wrap this up asap! thanks guys.

The MSD wires work great. They bend and hold their position making clearance a piece if cake.

I ran the red acdelco ls2 wires, with the stock metal heat shield they came with and also used red heat socks on them as well, hit the kooks a bit but no problems.

+1 On the MSD wires...You can probably find them Local. I would start calling your local Auto parts places.

I got the ghetto heat sleeves off eBay for like $20... They work ok. I haven't had a problem yet anyways. I check from time to time but they look passable still.

I wrapped my Kooks with DEI ti wrap with lava rock... so, not really concerned if touching but the red replacement wires didn't touch anywhere, at least not the wire itself. Get some socks and forget about it.

Also, get some heat reflective tape for the alternator wire on the drivers side and on the starter wire and brake lines on the pass side. Again, DEI makes some great products.

I got my B&B headers waiting to be installed, I really dont want to have to wrap them, so my try the heat sleeve route first. Fingers crossed.
