I have an ACT Twin.
It's the 875 Ft-Lb version with street disks and the standard Heavy Duty pressure plates.
I don't see any reason to go with the Extreme pressure plates or Race Disks.
The ACT Twin works flawlwssly and the pedal is significantly lighter than a V2.
I don't remember what the V1 pedal was like, because I have had so many other clutches in my car.
They all had issues except for this ACT, which drives like stock but handles 7K RPM shifts, no problem.
If you want a cushy sprung-hub, heavy clutch go with the LS9 instead.
I never used an LS9 clutch, so I can't comment on how well it works.
I doubt the LS9 is rated for 875 Ft-Lb.
The only thing you might want to know is that there is some rattle (in neutral) with the ACT that goes away when you step on the clutch pedal.
I imagine the LS9 is rattle free but at the price of a heavier flywheel.
Both my other clutches Luk Gold and RPS Street Twin had rattle but they were also light weight flywheel designs.

I'm running a single disc ACT and I have yet to experience any problems with it... It does chatter a little at low RPM loads, but handles high RPM shifts no problem. I know you specified a twin disc, but figured I'd chime in with my opinion that they're good quality

Do you mind me asking, where did you get your ACT Twin?
Im now curious what Skydiver uses...

I probably would have installed an LS9 had it been available.
However, Katch did not offer the kit untill several months after I had the ACT Street Twin.
Nevertheless, the ACT Twin works so well, it's hard to ask for anything better.
I think it's more a matter of deciding between a sprung vs non-sprung hub.
