FYI I finally got the radiator in. Turns out Volant intakes will NOT fit with the radiator. I had to pull that out and switch in my OEM one.

Started on this project last night.

Everything was going peachy until I found a screw that retains the A/C line on the side of the fan assembly and keeps the assembly from coming out easily.

Took me about 15 minutes and a right angle screwdriver to remove the POS.

It looks like it is a necessity to keep the line from rattling.

Anyone doing this, I recommend you replace the hoses also.

Well that wasn't fun.

Put the radiator in, then tried to install the fans.

Nope.

Put the radiator/fan assembly in.

Fight for about an hour and finally it goes in, not forcing anything.

Would it have been easier disconnecting the maggie intercooler?

I doubt it.

Suggestion: If you are doing this, put a piece of cardboard between the radiator and the A/C radiator when installing to keep from damaging fins.

The Alradco is almost 1/3 thicker then the OEM and there is almost NO ROOM left between the front of the motor and the fan assembly.

agreed. Getting this thing in there with the fans attached had me cussing up a storm. Then getting it to seat in the holes was a pain also. I disconnected the maggie intercooler reservoir so i could get better access down below.

It will be a very long time before I get in the mood to do this again.

Glad I replaced the hoses.

Well it's in and no leaks.

Anyone with a maggie thinking of doing this, you might be better off removing the front clip and the intercooler as you have to push the A/C radiator around.
