I just turned off the T/C and dumped from 2nd @ 4k and hit the brakes. I had to stand on them to get it to stand still.


I went until the cords were wrapped around the Control Arms.

I broke a rear rotor on this one. I hold the brake and work the throttle with my right foot and clutch with my left until it starts spinning, then I brake with my left foot. All with stabilitrac off.

OP... Did you ever figure this out? If you do please share because I can't do a burnout on the street (had no problem at the track in the water box)

So you guys dont have much worry with doing standing burnouts? I have been shopping for a V for the last month, all day today I have been reading up on the diff issues and its got me spooked, then I see this thread and ya'll dont give a f*** hahaha I dont know what to think right now!

as long as you dont have wheel hop,,, the diff should be fine

I thought it was from the shock of dropping the clutch. If its from laying into it during wheelhop that makes me feel a little better because you can reduce or eliminate the wheel hop with axles and what not.

ah i watse my tires every season, i put 3k on it each season and always kill a set of tires.
it also depends on how much my neighbours bitch at me for noise. the more they bitch, the more clutch dumps i do !!
