Default Commodore shifter interchange

Would a Commodore VE shifter work on a CTS-V? Here is a link http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Commodore...item27c3545315 It looks similar. I was trying to expand my options and it is always cool to have stuff no one else around here has.

I wonder if the commodore unit would elimanate many of the linkage issues we have, looks like it may bolt right in... someone should do some research.

Looks like a very nice shifter but I don't know of anyone that has tried it. U should be the first! Could open up another shifter option for us. Lol

Ask the seller to promo you one, if it works well I'm sure you could convince a large portion of the CTS V community to buy in. A good review and some pictures if it works well.........

This sure looks similar to our setup even though it is for a V6.
