They were on whenever I removed the heads. They were tight too. I'm not sure what happened. Maybe I just got a better connection putting everything back together

hell, while my heads were off, I cleaned the contacts with 1000 grit sandpaper just to be sure. I'd do that too, if I were having charging issues.
