Default Horn----eew!

I just got this 06 V and the horn sounds like a little bitch. I'm the kind of guy that uses my horn probably five or six times a day.
I'm of the belief that when people do dumb, rude, ignorant, or (definitely) dangerous things on the road, if you don't honk your horn at them, they may not even know that what they did was really stupid.
Anyway, I'm guessing one side of my horn is gone because I'd hate to think this is what GM gave this car for a horn.
I've never heard another horn on a V....are they usually nice and loud?

Yeah, sounds like one side of your horn is out. You can pretty much replace it with anything you want.

Yeah, but it was lame because it fit the car. Any serious kinda car with that is just plain funny, I don't care who you are.

Mine was the same way. One of the horns went bad. I picked one up on ebay. It was a direct replacement. Took 5 minutes to change.

I bought one of these.

I have Hella Supertones on my Subaru. They're definitely loud, but pretty high pitched, and very directional (so if you choose to go that route, mount them to point out the front of the car). Because of their high pitch, I actually combined them with a set of horns I grabbed off a Cadillac in the junkyard. The combination works well for me - much better than the stock wimpy horns that were tucked in behind the headlights on that car.

I'd love that....I like people to understand without a doubt that they almost killed someone.
