Default Slave Cylinder???

Had the car in gear and when I started it, with the clutch pushed in it rolled front, I put the car in neutral now it won't go into any gear. I'm thinking it's the slave. How can I find out and is it hard to replace? thanks.

That's awfully low mileage to be having these problems. What does the fluid look like? The clutch itself should be good for another 50k under normal driving conditions.

This. Bleeding the system usually works 99% of the time. I recently had the same problem and it turned out to the fluid itself. I switched to Syncromesh (GM only, about $6/qt) and now it shifts like butter.

What does the pedal feel like? What happens when you start it in gear with the clutch depressed? Is there any drag? If this is more your problem, this will be a slave/master issue and bleeding the system may be all that you need.

If you can slip the clutch and clearly feel the engagement/disengagement points, I would look to the fluid in the trans, the linkage, or an internal problem

Let us know what you find...lots of threads on this exact problem recently.
