Guys with 8.8's. 60ft?

Just got my car back with the CS 8.8 put in and it is wonderfull, smooth as can be. Haven't had a chance to beat on it yet with the nonstop rain but once it dries up and i get everything nice and broken in I will get my moneys worth out of it. Normally I would do this sort of work myself, but my buddy's shop was slow and he threw 3 guys at it and they knocked it out in a cpl hours for cheap. This and getting rid of the dual mass pos are by far the best mods I have done to this car.

For all the guys who have aftermarket rear ends, none have posted any times in the drag thread. I would like to see more to have an A to B of its abilities but it seems people just dont drag them or road race them.

9" here. I can dump from basically any rpm and it will not hop. The no whine part was almost worth it alone. About a 2300 rpm launch is when the tires break loose more than they get traction (new KDW2's) on pavement at least.
I plan on going to the track next week, so I'll let you know what rpm works the best. I'm trying to find this out for myself too!
P.S. I still DD mine, so I kept 3.73. Still get the decent punch out of the hole, but keep the low rpm at 80mph for highway usage and decent mpg.

i got the diff for 150..needs a rebuild and gears..so add another 150 to that.. powder i get done for free at my boys place... then the partial kit with the race outter cv's was 3g's.
so about 3300 and ill be the one setting the diff up so i know exactly what the backlash and pinion depth is. i dont want whine or clunk and a couple guys have said their 8.8 from CS had it. its all about set up

the full DSS race axles make install a breeze.. make sure you raise the 8.8 as high as possible to get the drivers side axle to snapp in. then lower it back so the rear and front mounts line up.. the cv will get caught on the cradle and bind. no need to put washers or cut the front diff bolt

It's been hot here in Phoenix, so I've only been out once... And I still need to buy some drag radials... I was on street tires and couldn't hook to save my life
