that is a **** load of movement!!! geez.. looks like over an inch actually.. i might make some new spacers out of hard plastic or aluminum and ditch the bmrs. the bmrs are still very soft. thanks for posting the vid. i think i have my game plan now

I have an 06 and for street driving, even taking off quickly, there is nothing wrong with this differential at 93k miles. I don't have any issues launching aggressively. Now, dropping the clutch from a stop will give you some wheel hop. Launching progressively and riding the clutch for a second or so on the verge of wheel spin / grip, I think it launches great. It's not a drag car but it's not as bad as people say. You can have a lot of fun on the street and the diff has no issues yet in my experience, and I toss my rear end out a few times every day.

There's a lot of negative talk about the rears online but I'll tell you that I think mine is pretty solid. Maybe it's because it's an 06, not sure.

Wow! Didn't realize the cradle could move so much, that's crazy!
What could be done to minimize it? Anybody know?

There is a group buy going on for Delrin inserts, but I'm not sure it will completely eliminate the movement... Probably making solid mounts is the way to go... I'm not sure though

im already lookin into this. got a buddy in austin that does custom suspension and chassis work along with a pretty damn good speed shop thus the reason he is building my motor setup. with the new 408 and nitrous should be a 850+ car and a rear is gunna be a requirement. so a build solid ford 9" all on a 4 link is in the works. not much more then the 8.8 kits and should be able to take any and everything you could possibly through at it. ill have results, pics and video sometime in the future probably still a few months out but hope to get it done soooooooon

I was thinking a ladder bar setup would probably come in at about the same price as the 8.8, 4 link might be slightly more, but having a 33spline solid rear axle would be nice lol
