Default Radiator suggestions

Hey guys. My radiator I noticed has some coolant seeping from the top tank. I would like to put an aluminum radiator in it. Who makes one and where can I get it?

Cool, and would I still be able to use the factory fan setup? Any modifications needed to install?

i don't have it, but a lot of guys on the caddy forum have it. maybe some guys on here. hopefully, they can chime in. from everything i've heard, it's a direct replacement. a little thicker, holds more coolant, but it still fits.

edit: found an install thread from on here. it's a good one: https://ls1tech.com/forums/cadillac-...ican-made.html

Alradco and Ron Davis are the only 2 that I know of.
I have a Ron Davis but hear good things about Alradco.
No fitment problems with either except don't get the one with built in oil cooler

Ron Davis is probably a lot more expensive, right? Do our Vs have an oil cooler in the stock tank or not?

Alradco and Ron davis both have excellent products that will hold up and work way better than stock. Keep in mind that with these aluminum radiators you will lose some room in the front, the radiators are bigger than stock. Ron davis radiator was kind of a pita to install and I've heard alradco was the same way. Either way great products, just keep in mind they require some patience to install.

Forgot how much it was but probably 800-1000 IIRC. Stock V doesn't have a cooler in it, but someone on CF had got that model and couldn't connect it. I ran a separate cooler in front of the rad, but I also pulled the A/C condenser

Yes it wasnt hard at all. Left the bumper on but I cheated and pulled the lower grille off IIRC. Actually had to do it twice since I dropped a bolt down in there...

anyone have a link to a Ron Davis radiator? I went to their site but they don't have a direct fit for Caddy.

Great radiator, just don't expect it quickly. I waited almost two months for mine, worth it though. I'm pretty sure they had mine the bauxite for mine before they made it....
