You need a mass air flow. Its running lean you maybe detonating hopefully that didn't do any damage. Your prolly using oil because when the computer gets a lean code it full fuel. This can "wash the walls" is like brake cleaning rotors. Fuel takes all the oil off the cylinder wall and things the oil and the rings actually polish the wall.. never good. I can def see the headers are leaking I'd get that welded.. it maybe louder at the leak because the car richened up. Try unplugging the mass air and take it for a drive and see what it does

Well I have heard leaking headers extremely loud. Its best to start simple before ripping apart an engine. On of the techs at work was working on an xk8 and he's pulling intake Mani to get to the knock sensor. I walked over and asked him why he said well its throwing a knock code. I said OK so you year it apart already? I go inside and its pegged on e. I said is there gas in it. Well it starts told him to ho over to shell put the best gas in take it for a drive he did and fixed. Who'd a thought a car running out of gas would throw a knock code?? Gotta start at the beginning..

I'm worried it may need a fuel pump. That's why I want you to disconnect the mass air and see what it does.

Yours doesn't sound too bad. Sounds like lifter. Possibly pre load isn't correct?

I think it's a collapsed lifter, as well.

^^^ I agree with the 2 post above me it's most likely the lifter being that the pre-load was off and caused a lifter to fail, along with what sounds like a decent exhaust leak from the headers.

The headers have been leaking since day one but was tuned with them present.
Check your hoses, and clean your MAF sensor, and make sure there's no leaks. Did you also just put a cone filter on, or are you still on stock airbox? I think your sound may be a lifter, but I don't think the code is.
