HAHAHAHA

Sure, all you need is a microscope and a bunch of other stuff.

Here is the board you have to modify and here is a picture of my little shop setup.

The microscope is a NIKON and a "must have" for this type of work.

I just spoke to my friend who owns a circuit board company.

A great guy who is into cars.

Him and his dad.

Anyway, we are discussing circuit boards so things are moving along.

Just as a note, I was playing around and with the newer map software you can link to Google maps and get a street view of what it looks like where you are going to.

***** on the stock nav.

I'm pretty stoked on this to be honest. If you can get this going and ready for production in the next couple months, I'll definitely be in. ****, I'll even send a deposit on it so I can be close to the top of the list!

I am ******* ecstatic!

As for "What's it gonna cost?".

Ballpark estimation will probably be less then $1500.00.

That would be for taking your radio, converting the stock display, and you plug your stuff to the display.

If you want a computer also, I have to figure that out.

I have already promised Reed his radio is getting the treatment after mine.

I am not taking any orders as of yet (thanks for the offer though!).

I got one with Bluetooth, Airport and a DVI output.

Dual core. These things are cheap on Ebay.

For less then $300 you can get a decent one.

The DVI output you can get an adapter to turn it into 15 pin VGA.

I am looking at getting DVI connectors to get rid of the adapter.

The HDMI I haven't looked at yet, but there are adapters.

What you are gonna need is one of these:

Amazon Amazon

and this:

Amazon Amazon

For myself, I think my radio #2 will have a full on Mini installed (just for laughs).

Are you on MP3Car.com. Pretty good website for carputers. Im currently working on a tablet install but just using the following mount.

Thanks for the link.

My software buddy told me an interesting find.

Ford lost it's JD Powers #1 rating because of the touch screen!

So, he said to get one of these instead:

Amazon Amazon

You don't even have to plug it into a Bluetooth Mac!

(I ordered one)

Does that Mount work only in the dvd slot or can it also clamp into the cd slot in the V1 as the cd slot sits back a bit from the face of the dash.
