Default Maggie uncharted territory 1:1 rears

So I've decided to take on the task of swapping the rear pulleys to the 1:1 rear overdriven pulleys.. Far as I know no one with a V has done it.

I'm getting belt slip with the 2.6 so I'm gonna give this a whirl.. Keep everyone posted

def the way to go with the 112.. i think they have to be pressed on. my buddy with a ls2 112hh TBSS got the rear conversion from left coast. he says hes getting zero slipage http://www.leftcoast32.com/products/...wer-drive.aspx

i didnt do the full 8 rib because the smallest i can get on there is a 2.7 8 rib.

ive got the 8in balencer so ill prolly do a 2.8 front as the 2.8 never slipped as far as i can tell. im seeing 10-11lbs now so im hoping to get to 12lbs or atleast stay where im at with no slip

after an hr and a half on the dyno with the 2.6 the highest i saw was low 130's during the pull. made 485/480.

driving logs usually show low 120's during highway pulls. im gonna add a coolant res once i do the rears just aid alittle. plus shes getting the 100 shot in the spring

Where do you buy them? Do you have to modify the rear fuel line that crosses over?

130 but what's the ambient temp like 45 50° ? What's iat going to be in summer? I heard the v2 runs pretty toasty in traffic.. I think that is something to consider.. maybe a meth kit..

when i dynoed last it was 75 degrees. and i dont use meth anymore. melted a piston when the meth pump burped at the absolute worse time.

of course in traffic in the summer the iat's are up there. theres no cure for that other than a heat extractor hood.

STS chiller system. check out the cadillac forums, $800 bucks. I'm considering dropping my meth and going with this instead for IAT reduction.

i'm actually thinking about cutting out my inner fender, putting the filter down there, and making a T out of PVC to use the outside air to blow directly on the filter.

yea i decided instead of doing 1:1 im swapping the rear pulleys so that its over driven in the rear. im hoping to get a chance to do it this weekend.

so the set up will be..over driven balancer, overdriven rears and a 3.0 or 3.2 front depending on iats and how the motor reacts.

motor is a fully forged ls6 with 9.5/1 compression...stock heads and a ls9 cam. im on a damn mission to break 500 wheel!

ill keep u guys updated once i find the time to get this done.
