REVSHIFT Rear Cradle Busings
#45
I just ordered red subframe and differential bushings.
I already have the 95A trailing arm bushings from TurninConcepts, the solid steel Ballistic Fabrication ball joints on the Killernoodle trailing arms, and the 87A Creative Steel differential bushing. Zero vibration gain from any of those modifications.
Where you see an increase in vibration is when you attach a stiffer bushing to a large prime mover like your motor or transmission. Those are the only two places where I would recommend avoiding 95A bushings if you want a nice, smooth ride. Even with 80-87A motor mounts, you'll feel a difference in structure borne vibration over 60A rubber.

My dad just bought the cradle and trailing arm bushings in 95A and also bought the flex disc coupler for the car in my sig. I talked him into the 95's lol hope he doesn't hate me.

I just placed my order for subframe and trailing arm bushings...all blue. I thought about getting the red trailing arm bushings, but decided against it. Besides, they're only $50 if I decide I need something stronger. Total of $177 for everything...does RevShift know these are for a Cadillac? LOL!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I'm not too desperate to save the 30 bucks but will order these if the reviews are up to par...I'm sure Fuzzy, DMM or someone else will end up doing a write-up as usual being the nice guys they are*hint hint*

On a related note, I feel bad about not putting together how-to guides for you guys, but I'm always rushing to get the installation done since a) this is my daily driver and every operation must be concluded by Sunday night (you should've seen me fly through the cam/valvetrain upgrades!) and b) I don't have a garage yet and its usually either incredibly hot or cold outside. Not to mention an incredible PITA to keep the area squeaky clean.

It might take me a couple of weeks to get the job done. Finals plus work-related holiday deadlines mean I get very little time to wrench on the car. The subframe bushing installation promises to be more involved than most people are thinking it will be, because you're not going to get these out without dropping the subframe and burning out the old bushings with a torch. Of course, I'll be looking for a way to cheat that process as much as possible and I'll pass along any installation advice that I develop.
