Personally, I did the whole thing to upgrade to 5500 lumen, 4300K 55W bulbs and free myself from the tyranny of D1S and its $150 bulb changes.

I love the way your lights look. I bought some HID's for the fog lights (baby steps) and your old headlights are working out great for me. I need to educate myself about HID's before I decide exactly what I am doing. In the mean time I will have to settle for my upcoming heads and cam swap.

Glad to hear they found a good home.

The HID fogs are a great first start, because you'll be able to use the ballasts and wiring if you ever decide to do projector fogs. My initial set of fogs need some major mounting refinements, so I'm going to be building my second set this winter.

Fuzzy I plan to copy whatever you are doing for your second set of fogs so please let us know. I want to try and upgrade light output and prefer white light over the crazy blue look.

Then I'll post it up once I have time to run the installation. My second set of glass projectors arrived, but I've got a long queue of other mods in front of them. Might be a month.

FUZZY: When you bought your halo headlights, did you end up grabbing something like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/03-07-Cadill...ac5f1e&vxp=mtr.

Also If anyone wants to pull the trigger on the combo I'd love to make them an offer on the tails cause this seems to be a heck of a deal http://www.ebay.com/itm/03-07-Cadill...2f865e&vxp=mtr I've been trying to find a reasonable price on some tails for quite some time

PS: I was thinking of selling my extra set of fogs but getting creative with my first set and finally doing the lexan mod leaves me hungry for more

Great minds think alike, I guess. I've been wanting those tail lights as well, and noticed the $150 premium if you buy them separately.

This is the exact headlight part that I bought. This is what you'd need to buy if you wanted the tail lights too.

I'm not cool enough to afford a badass V but somehow I ended up on this thread. Anyways I think if yu got a thin piece of plexiglass and scuffed it up real good so it's a nice solid white then traced the eBay halo ring to it and cut it out and placed it over over the ring yu would get a nice solid white halo effect and really do it some justice. Idk just my opinion. If I had the car and the rings I'd go for it lol

I will be buying a set of those tails regardless just pissed they charge $400 for a $150 set of rear led's. You feeling a group buy fuzzy? I know I am, thinking $300 shipped is reasonable.

I don't think that we could get 10+ people interested without first having favorable pictures and video from somebody that owns a set.

Finally those led tails are coming down in price, they were like $800 plus for a set forever! I guess the same was true with these headlights, somebody else must have sourced them and viola!

I'm down for a group buy on those, could probably sell my OEM smoked tails for $200 at least.
