The actual D2 coilover group buy!
Ok, so let me start off by asking please do not post here unless you are serious about wanting in on this group buy. Alot of information is out there in other threads please do a search, and do not clutter up this thread! Thank you!
So bottom line is that we managed to find a gentleman that is capable and willing to get us a deal on the coil overs. Unfortunately, we cannot go spreading the word about price, as he fears for losing his connection with D2. However, the price in my opinion is fantastic, PM me for actual cost. It is well under what I have found them to be anywhere else. In the other thread someone quoted getting them off eBay for 910$ and we are doing better than that.
The kits come with 550/550 springs and we are unable to get a different rate. The general consensus from the other thread as well as the other forum, is that they are ok, but a little soft for aggressive/track type driving. They do take a 2.5 coil so changing spring rates on your own accord is simple enough.
The price as it stands is for 10 buyers. With only 5 it would go up about another 50$. He does not stock these, and does not want to get screwed having 5 on hand when he only sells 1-2 a year, that is understandable. So, we are looking for at least 5, but hopefully 10 committed buyers with the available funds.
The time line for an order of 10 would come in around the second week of January. Once the final number of orders is settled on a deposit will be inorder, to ensure that you are infact a serious buyer. The decision deadline is december 19th! A deposit of 200$ will be necessary as well around the 19th. Any questions feel free to PM me, as well as info on price.
Edit: So as you know here is D2's website for the coilovers:
http://www.d2racing.com/content/products/RS_coilovers
Also, they are the RS coilovers part # D-CA-01
For pictures and more information about the product please view this thread: https://ls1tech.com/forums/cadillac-...coilovers.html
We would be paying via paypal so everyone with have the luxuary of safe payment, and those who are actually buying a set will be forwarded all the necessary contact information, for peace of mind.
I know that I need a new/adjustable suspension on my V, hopefully 9 of you
do as well! If you are like me (extremely anxious and impatient) feel free to call/text me 817-948-3642 for the quickest response! Thanks-Nik
Alot of interest, and people who will be getting back to me as to a go, no go. Once we hit 10 and you want in I'm sorry, but 10 as of now is the limit<---Something to think about if you're on the fence!

Man I'd love to be taking part in this gp. It would be a pretty hard sell to the wife right now as we can't even drive the v because of the f'n reduced engine power hell I've been going through with this thing.
