Radiator fan stayed on after engine was turned off.
I turned off my V the other day and what sounded like the radiator fan was still on and running even after the car was off, and the doors had been locked with the keychain. I jumped back in the car to check the temps and saw everything was fine, no overheating at all, for some reason the fan was just staying on. I fired it up, then turned it back off again and the fan went off.
Anyone ever have this issue?

The factory setting will allow the fan to stay on if necessary I forget the temp, but its north of 230F... Should shut off after 2 mins or so... If it stayed on for a long period of time it's most likely a stuck relay

Its a protective feature that is there by design to prevent afterboil. I don't know the temp threshold personally but I'll guess the above responses are probably accurate as coolant temp will need to be high where heat cannot be dissipated quickly enough after engine off.

I use this option all the time... The fans will run only in series (half voltage) when the ignition is off.
For 04-05 (ECM LS1B) stock setting is 246°F and will run for 120 seconds.
