Who has a Revshift trans block
Just got my Revshift order today and want to put the trans block in but had some questions on this. I understand this is just to fill the gap but is there a need for the nub to be flat ? Did your look this rough ?

Just did mine recently and it looked about the same. Works great. This is about what you can expect with a low volume hand poured molded part. I for one don't mind since it is not a visible part, performs its intended function perfectly fine, and was cheap. My CS diff block looks about the same.

Correct. The insert keeps the trans mount at the oem height and prevents it from sagging.
No one has reported (to us) any shifter issues caused by our insert. The only issue that I am aware of was with PISSNUOFF which ended up being caused by worn shifter bushings, not the trans insert.
The trans inserts do not look pretty because the molds were made directly from the inside of a trans mount. The inside of the oem trans mount is rough as well. The insert fits perfectly and contacts the entire inner space of the trans mount. We know that aesthetics are not an issue with this part as it is purely functional and will never be seen after installation.

I had an issue of the shifter linkage hitting my driveshaft after the shifter block install and my short throw shifter. The fix was take the shifter out and flip the white two piece coupler the sits around the ball part of the shifter. Once I did that everything was perfect.
