Default Stock Transmission Mount

I bought a Revshift mount and when I went to put it in the stock mount was compressed so much that when I was jacking up my transmission to gain a little space to insert the Revshift mount the stock trans mount was coming apart. So I didn't do the mount insert.

I called Lindsay and near by Cadillac dealers and they quoted me $350-$500 for a trans mount.

I really wanted to use the stock mount and insert but my mount is beat up!!!

Does anyone have a decent shape trans mount for sale?

The only reason I dont want to buy a CS or UUC trans mount is that I heard they transfer a lot of noise/vibration. But in the end I may just buy the CS mount. That would mean I would have a Revshift insert for sale.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I used a prothane mount for a Camaro (f body). My creative steel mount failed. I used the top plate of the creative steel mount, and welded the f body mount to it.

Mine was almost completely collapsed, with the passenger side being the worst. I would go ahead and install the thing and see where you're at. The trans mount is not really susceptible to bad upward or side loads, so I'd try it out. I can check on Monday a my dealer and see what their price is as well.

I agree. unless the rubber is falling apart just stick the insert in there and if necessary, use some epoxy between the original rubber and mount.

I found a new one for a fair price, will look for the link and post if I find it.

Only $161 but you might have to wait a couple weeks. UPS shipping was only $10 more.
