I think I will try self install. I saw the article that Vinnie from OCC did on his V. Which almost makes me want to buy the kit brand new so no parts are missing but if a used one is cheap enough I would probably buy it.

It sounds almost easier than installing the headers.

Suscribed...looking at the H/C/E route myself for my '06, but can't decide how extensive to get with things.

Cat backs are a waste of $ for the V, you'll gain nothing besides noise. I have headers, cam, cat delete and it fits the cars persona very well. My friend had a Corsa system on his, which he though was cool for about a month before wanting the stock system on again. Do cut outs instead.

This sounds about right to me. I have driven a couple cat back ones and feel no improved power at all.
