Cam or exhaust first??
I have a 07 CTS-V with 39k. I have a three stage plan I want to do.
1. Long tube headers and exhaust.
2. Cam and with head springs.
3. Maggie.
Should I do cam or headers first? Does it matter at all?
Probably be six months in between these upgrades.

imho, rear end should be before maggie. either that or cradle bushings and anti-wheelhop axle

The rear will be my last upgrade. Hopefully more affordable options will be available. I might do g-force axles. That is cheap.
Anyway it will keep me from doing real stupid **** at lights right?

Imo I would do the cam and spray instead of Maggie. Unless you get the Maggie for a great price. If I had to do it all over again I would cam and spray. The Maggie is nice but you can get more hp cheaper...

Screw it just do heads, cam, nitrous, and a maggie.... What could possibly go wrong. I would start of with all your bushings and shifter, build the car progressively so that you don't end up with more power than you can use and end up breaking ****. Solid framwork helps in the end, I still don't have a single real power adder (I consider exhaust work to a supportive mod).
Edit: depending on what clutch/flywheel you have, going from OEM dual mass POS (technical term I believe) to a new single mass can make quite a difference and allow for more power and beatings down the road.

I should put that in the cards too I imagine.
Also I am kind of a procrastinator on anything that isn't oil changes and brakes...I see myself replacing mounts as they break..just sayin. Probably not the best strategy but adding power is more rewarding than changing bushings and mounts. lol
