I wouldn't mind a carbon-fiber over the little splitter we have making it bigger.

i actually asked about a trunk lid and we agreed that a price from $800-$900 would be decent considering for the v2's their running right around $1500. He did say they could do a cowl hood design but didn't want to redo something Spectre Werkes has already produced. So we figured why not do something more taller such as the power dome? Or some sort of ram air style. I'd like to set a pole up but honestly I don't know how to and i'm still trying to figure this stuff out. Any help would be appreciated.

check out their stuff guys and get a idea on the work they do.

Default Weapon X Carbon fiber group buy poll

Based off the old thread, we collectively want a hood, splitter and trunk lid.

Whos in? Whats first? Whos ready to pony up some cash?

thanks for doing this! hopefully everyone else pulls their own weight and goes thru with this so i can know what to get prices for so we can know. maybe if its possible you can slap prices on the poll so people get a heads up. as said before trunk lid is average from $800-$900

Keep in mind that we'll need to know how much it'll weigh, plus people will want to account for the roughly $800 it'll cost to have the rear end of your car repainted.

D3's trunk lid for the V2 weighs about 1/3 of stock. I'm guessing we could expect the same.

Which means that it weighs roughly 10 lbs instead of 30 lbs?

Note that you can achieve greater weight gains for about $85 with a lightweight Deka ETX20L (15.5 lbs) vs. a Group 78 battery (39.5 lbs) from Walmart.

Nothing wrong with going carbon fiber for body panels, other than the fact that it is terrible at dampening sound. Just make sure that you've got everything cheaper covered first before you start paying $80/lb for weight reduction.

Thanks for peeing in my oatmeal. Prior to that post I was ready to justify the expense for the gain.

Seriously? I just gave you $1500 to spend on performance or appearance mods. Stop with the ridiculous hyperbole.

If I buy carbon fiber panels, Since my car is black, I do not plan on painting them. Just clear coat. Which will not cost anywhere near 800$

Still interested in a V2 style hood on a V1. Spectre and that other companies poor copy don't do anything for me. Custom splitter is something I'd be interested in as well.
