Default V2 production numbers??

I am seeing a TON of 2010 and 2011 cts-v's in the wholesale market.

This is good for people who want to jump to a V2 but turns me off to doing so. I suspect there will be more than twice as many V2's than V1's produced.

The last production numbers I found were only 2009's which were 2,847 vs 2004's 2,461 for first year production runs.

The amount of 2010's I am seeing in the market looks like more than 5k were made and 2011's even more maybe do to the coupe and wagon introduction.

Anybody got production numbers of 2010 and higher?

wish I had an 07 like you at 1176 but yeah, I like the limited production of the V1 totaling 10197 in 4 years. They are not a dime a dozen like corvettes, you dont see them all the time every where, unless you live near or in a large city, but even then it is not a regular occurance to see a V1. I see V2's everywhere! Then, I see more and more V1's totaled, so....the rarity of my car is going up! Not that any of this is going to be all that beneficial, i just like driving a car to where only 10197 other people may have one, compared to a couple million.

I will be jumping to a V2 probably late next year. The problem is finding a manual at a good price. V1s were easy for me since it is 3 pedals or nothing. That's my concern...and in the color I want. WDTC sedan, recaros, roof, T-6060.

Not sure what the numbers are but I see 2-4 V2's every day where I live/work. Rarely do I see a V1. Once the next gen V comes out the V2 prices will drop like crazy, especially with the amount that GM built.

That's just about the best looking V2 I've ever seen ... ('cept that black one in the video from Florida with the yellow calipers who just had a pulley and tune done).

She said it looked 10X better in person

If you are looking for a rare V2. Look at the Wagons. I bet you don't see them everyday. And the manual ones are VERY rare. As of last year mid year, Caddy had made less than 500 wagons, total. My guess, is, the total count for them when done will be less than 1K.

You might be right..We have sold only two and they were 2011's. One stick and one auto.

i had the only V1 in Abilene, when I had my 2007.

I am one of 3 V2s...my sedan, a black coupe, and a blue wagon.

do I care...**** no.

the V1 is a complete turd compared to the V2. so, I will take the nicer, faster, better built car over the rarer one.
