I like it. Not the car for me, but then again I think the ATS is more my size/sportiness. I think for a bigger caddy/5 series competitor it looks good, it has almost a classic luxury car look but is modern.

The CTS is a midsize car like the G8, the ATS is a compact car like the Audi A4 and the BMW 3-Series.

I think it's Fugly, they said the TT version is called the Vsport, that won't take place of the actual V version will it?

Let's hope not, but it's a dumb name since it serves only to confuse people.

On gminsidenews, they're reporting 3,616 lbs for the CTS. One guy also mentioned in a post of rumors of 600 hp for the CTS-V. Just think: <3,700 lbs and 600 hp.

cadillac is just following mercedes and bmw with there product lines to compete, amg packaging and the sport packaging. Now cadillac is jumping on with the V sport line. To switch gears i really hope for a twin turbo v8 in the next gen cts-v i feel like that would be a lot of fun although this LSA is not broken and still an unbelievable motor i would like to see more efficiency personally.

I'm sure all the rags are licking their chops to get hold of one especially with the new 3.6TT under the hood.

Looks nice, but I'd like to see it in person... crazy that the newer engines are so efficient and powerful at the same time...

The only spec I've seen is a claimed 0-60 of 4.6 for the 3.6TT

it will break into the 12's stock. its power to weight ratio plus the automatic are all in its favor.

Yeah, DI, VVT, & four valves per cyl sure do help. I love the way those turbos and inner coolers are designed right into the motor. Can't imagine those turbos any closer to the intake. Truly great powerplant.

Wonder if a tune and some tweaking of the wastegate could squeeze another 80 hp out of it.

I'm sure it'll be capable of quite a bit of power... no need for a large displacement v8 when you got this! LOL

I bet it will easily pump out 500 rwhp with the right mods.

i think to motor will take 500 rwhp but those baby turbo's might run out of breathe. with more fuel, cooler air flow in and out and tunning i think we will see these v's with a solid 410 whp and 410 420 wtq

I wouldn't be surprised. Tune, CAI and exhaust, the SHO ecoboost is running 12.7's. Ford Flex's running low 13's with just a tune. The CTS TT V6 should easily run in the 12's tuned.

Those SHOs are porky, too, at 4,224 lbs (AT). Lop 600 lbs off to bring it down to the new CTS VSport's weight, and it would seem low 12s would be a cinch.

What does that mean for a Gen 3 CTS-V?

i think they will keep the lsa in the v3. just a new body style and maybe some weight reduction. ill bet they have plenty of the lsa crates sitting around so why not use em up then change to a different powerplant for the v4. thats my guess atleast

No way will it get in the 12's stock. It weighs 400 pounds more than a Camaro SS and has the same hp and the Camaro BARELY gets in the 12's stock.
