It's really going to be that light? Damn, I have some more weight to cut off of my V1. Also, makes the weight of the ATS not look so great anymore.

??...
The Camaro 1SS weighs 3860.
Base 2014 CTS is 3616, the TT about 3700.
That seems less to me.

If the vsport can be had awd it should hang with the sho at the strip but specs indicate rwd only. Its interesting car something I would consider when I am done with my V1.

Default Love the Cadillac V series....but

I would like more room in the back seat when I take a customer to lunch.

I LOVE V-series, especially with manual trans....

but I have to work and entertain.

Please give me a Cadillac based on current Zeta platform with m/t.

The G8, Camaro and the new Chevy SS is built on the Zeta platform, the CTS has the Sigma platform.

New CTS TTV6 will run 12s out the box at 3700lbs and 420hp with 0 mods. The only reason V1s don't run 12s out the box is because our rear cradle and whole rear suspension setup is trash for strip.

I'm hoping for high 11s out-the-box V8 CTS-V3

12's stock on a v1 either version ls6/ls2 is asking a lot. The press material for the 04 v1 stated 4.6 to 60 and 13.1 quarter and I don't know of anybody that has replicated that data. It would be interesting to see the tests done with the 8.8 kit installed same gears everything else bone stock.

I expect the new TT cts v-sport to be quicker than the v1 stock down the quarter just due to transmission and drive train differences. On a road circuit I am afraid the V1 will also be slightly slower but will be interesting to see how it does and if they take the v-sport to the nurburgring for tuning.
