I've heard of some dual-mass flywheels showing symptoms under load, not with RPMs. That could account for it, if it's an actual thing that can happen. I'm reaching a bit, though.

He said it's RPM-dependent, not speed-dependent, so I don't think it could be the driveshaft.

Swap out the CS trans mount for a new stock mount.

OK guys I have some things to report. I have not been able to get underneath the car to visually inspect the driveshaft. However, I can say that giving the car extra throttle in 6th gear at 70 tends to vibrate up from the floor - almost directly under the shifter and arm rest. In fact, I believe the plastic trim piece(s) that vibrates is coming from that area as well.

Another item to note is that it does seem to be speed based as well. Maintaining 90mph and stabbing the gas doesn't provide nearly as much vibration as it does when doing 70mph (all in 6th gear of course).

I'm not sure if this gets us closer to of further from the solution, but I'm sure it'll be hashed out once I can get underneath.

Check the rear pivot joint on the driveshaft make sure there is no play. Mine was giving me bad vibes and kept getting worse finally narrowed it down to the rear of the driveshaft ready to fall apart

I don't know how bad your vibes are but wheel weights did drive me crazy for a bit. don't count that out. But the others could be right.

Well I ordered a new one piece driveshaft from GForce to find out that my OEM unit is fine. The entire car was checked over and nothing was found to be wrong with it. I also went for a ride in another car with these mounts installed and it drove and felt exactly the same. I guess I'm a little more sensitive to poly mounts than I thought. Oh well - if anyone is looking for a new driveshaft, I have a thread in the FS section.

Thanks again to everyone for your help.

DON'T order from revshift. I ORDERED MOTOR, TRANS, AND CONTROL ARM BUSHINGS 5 WEEKS AGO FROM REVSHIFT ... STILL NO PARTS. They won't answer the phone and when they do its BS and never answer emails. last friday they finally answered the phone and gave me a shipping tracking number and it hasn't even been picked up for delivery. DON'T ORDER FROM THEM. I'll give you a update if I ever get my parts.

Yea, Revshift is pretty slow at getting their orders out. Their products look like there made in low quantity (one at a time, by hand) but are still pretty good, nonetheless. I wouldnt say dont order from them at all, but do expect a bit of a wait. once mdw gets his stuff installed, I'm pretty sure he will be happy with the products.

Redline, I still think you should try a new factory transmission mount and see what you think.

Yeah I was thinking about doing that as well. First priority is selling the GForce driveshaft - I'm starting to take over the guest bedroom with car parts and the wife is having none of it.

Was searching for something and stumbled across this old thread. Did you ever resolve the issue, Redline?
