color decision
Well guys, haven't been around on the caddy seen very long but here is a run down on me and my car. I bought a redline red 05 v in January from Andrew Zurich at cps racing. the car was amazing. Well it still is except the fact I swerved to miss a deer in February and side swiped a fence row and did $13000 worth of damage to it and the car totalled. I am a body guy so its not a big deal to me so I bought the car back and have acquired all the parts needed for repair and I am trying to figure out being as its gonna be a rebuilt title car should I change the color to the newer 3 stage red. I figure its not gonna hurt the value and I plan on painting the whole car anyways. The damage really isn't bad and its mainly cosmetic. Just looking for some other opinions..
Tks

If you are dead set on Red, I would go with Crystal Red. But GM has a nice pallet to chose from...hell...you can even look at other makers. And since you are a body guy, could always mix a one off color or do 2 tone.
I, personally, have always liked the looks of JSB on the V1, or maybe try the OBM.

Lol. Unfortunately it wasn't to get paid, however I will come out on top of this one for once. After paying off the car I bought it back for $2400 and will have about $6000 in the car when finished. A lot cheaper than the $16000 I gave for it. I am sure my insurance rates will reflect it in the near future.

OBM is definitely hot as hell and I never thought about that. I was only thinking about the reds due to all of the jamb work required for a major color change especially the engine bay but this has really got me thinking...

I live in the country so they are common here. I swerved even though I knew better and he hit my left rear quarter. I thought I was just getting off on the shoulder but it appeared to be a ditch and it pulled me into the fence and the rear axle caught a small tree stump.
