That wasn't me, but I've seen that one before. I'm further up I-95. If you're ever on the Groton/New London bridge around 6:30 AM, there's chance you'll see a red blur heading south.

There are three black V1s somewhere in this area. None are forum members--one of them is badly maintained and is missing the right rear rocker panel. Another looks like a 2007, completely stock, very clean--driven by what looks like a freshman/sophomore in college. Doesn't know what to do with his car, other than wash it. The last one looks like a 04-05 with some serious modifications. I've chased after him a couple of times, but traffic has never let me catch up completely.

What is your power goal on these rear driven gears without using N2O? I noticed you didn't go 1:1, any reason?

Back in the day, guys were looking at just swapping the two pulleys back there so it would go from slight under drive to slight over drive (don't recall the exact ratios). Magnuson themselves wouldn't do it for anyone, but some shops would attempt it. Not sure what's involved or how tricky it is.

It's as strait forward as it sounds. Heat up and use a pulley puller to get the two rears off..Swap the pulleys and press em back on. The cts-v pulley is too small and won't clear the snout of the input shaft so I ordered a 3.2 that just barely cleared. It's over driven but not to crazy. Now I can pulley down in the front to find the best combo. We will see as soon as I get my hands on a wide band

I'd be happy to just break 500. The torq I'm gonna pick up and the high boost coming in so early is what's gonna make the car so much fun

This is what people don't understand when they look at only the peak numbers.

BTW Magnuson did it for Onebadcad (?) back in the day but didn't want to do it again.

Little update.. Still working on it but so far im seeing 13lbs max boost.. Iat's are starting around 130 and max out at 164 at redline. This is with no down time between pulls.. Just flash.. Make a pull .. Flash etc.. All street tuning so no power numbers yet.

I'm gonna throw the 2.8 on the front now and do some more tuning. Still haven't turned on the meth so iat's should be handled once I get the tune a little better. So far were at 11.3 afr's and 20 degrees of timing. Keep u guys posted

When you do turn on the meth, what size nozzle are you thinking?

You're lucky that you can push it that far since you are already forged. How much timing are you pulling through IAT's? 11.6 AFR is a tad rich, mine always seemed to like it a bit leaner in the 11.8 range. Sounds like you have things sorted out, but Remember that too much fuel can induce detonation as well.

Lean it the rest of the way and add timing accordingly on the dyno in the next day or so. Just some street tuning so I can beat on it lol

You must be rather pleased with 14 psi boost.

I would be.

I'd say I'm more happy with the sound coming out of this thing lol.. Screams it's lungs out now. If I had to guess ill be just over the 510-520 mark. Heats killing me so I'm in the works to maybe change the heat exchanger to a thick 28x7x3.5 and turn the meth on once she's dyno'd. I do not want to be meth dependant as that's how I lost my motor the first time.
