Maggie overdriven rears DONE!!

What are you using to tune with? I have an HP Tuners 2 BAR and it's a little confusing at first. The PE and BE are 2 separate tables, the PCM uses the richer of the two by default but BE can sometimes be slow to respond compared to PE.
And it sounds like you have SD 60 lb injectors, the Banish data is close but not absolute. Once you get your Lambda error PID setup, you'll be good to go. You can PM me if you have any questions about tuning the 2 BAR OS.
Also, you're way rich (as you know) but being overly rich can cause detonation/knock, which can really complicate things when you're trying your hand at tuning. The VE map needs to be correct for PE/BE to function as they are simple multiplier tables and the PCM has no feedback (O2 data) for correction.

That's the biggest problem I'm having right now, getting the VE tables right. If I put in what info I can find on the SD/Mototron 60 lb injectors, with my stock VE tables in the 110 kpa and under part of the VE table, the engine is crazy lean. When I start to adjust using AFR error %, it's huge adjustments that I have to make, and the table looks like it's having a heart attack. The adjustments I do make seem to be to dramatic, almost as if the percentage is more then it should be based on the injector data. That's why I think the injectors are wrong, if that makes sense.
Ideally, once everything is dialed in, I will not use the BE at all. From my understanding, the BE is mainly there as an insurance policy for turboed applications that could have a potential over boost situation.
I'm hoping that the DVD will fill in some of the gaps for me. I do better seeing something done, then just reading about it.

Update, I got the overdriven rears done today. The pulley boys m112 tool works great to install the rears and remove the blower drive pulley. For the Rear JS pulley removal I used a 7 ton 3 jaw puller from Oriellys and an impact.
I went from 6.5 psi to 8.5 with blower ratios of 2.23 to 2.5.

I'm seeing about 10 psi but, it falls off a little towards redline. I'm also seeing IAT's above 150 with a 3rd gear pull. I'm going to throw a water/methanol kit on it to tame down the IAT's. Should be here this week. Not sure when I'll get it put on though.

I saw almost 15lbs the other night in the cold air (60's) my iat's hovered around 150 after a 3 gear pull. Didn't fall off at all in the upper Rpm's either. Only thing wrong now is the tires won't hold 2nd gear roll ons lol
#113
Did you get your belt slipping issue fixed? If so that is great. I need heads/cam and overdrive this thing some more! It stil handles 1st gear roll ons without spinning.
#115
Mine's the same way, 2nd gear roll on is useless. Time to try some 275's.

Man I have 265 pilot super sports, either my tune sucks or those tires are real good.
I want to see what 15 psi feels like in here. I had a Tbird SC that I removed the m90 on and put on a 1.7L autorotor screw blower at 20 psi or so. That thing was so much fun.

im running 275/35/20 nitto nt05's. they are great tires but wear fast!
i love the way the car has been running since its been cooling down..it doesnt like hot days but when its cool out the car wakes right up!

Did you retune after the pulley swap?
#119
you guys should deff retune!!!!! remember that when overdriving these blowers the boost is instant..if that tune isnt right your going to be lean on tip in. somethinmg you dont wanna do with the iat's these thing produce. specially on stock motors!
im working on the new intercooler this weekend and if i can get the iats down in the 110's-120's im gonna spin it some more.. prolly gonna throw a 3.6 on the rear jackshaft...add a spacer (maybe nitrous spray bars in it) between the blower and upper mani and a little port matching blending of the lower manifold..along with repositioning the iat sensor to get it right in front of the incoming air. ill be doing write ups of everything next time the blower is out.
