Interesting. What would happen if the throttle were 95% of the way down when you tried this? Would the car set that throttle position to the new WOT setting? Does any of this interfere with a HP Tuners tune?

I'm going to my friends house today and he going to scan the car and check the sensors.

No check engine light but the only code the car is showing is P0102. That code was set off about 200 miles ago and nothing since.
My friend has a Snap On Modis Scanner. He check all the sensor and nothing. Everything works fine. Nothing was wrong. After I left his house the car started to act up.
He thinks is the TB or throttle pedal.
One thing he did see was when you keep the throttle at 2,000 rpm for 30 second or more. The computer will drop the RPM down and bring it back up.

Tell me what you find cause I also get surge when I start up before the car is at running temp. Used to get codes before I changed the maf. Ever since I changed it haven't had a code. 500miles post new maf here but still that darn surge on a cold block.

Sounds like your V is no longer subservient, you need to reestablish your male dominance and quickly! Bang the wife on the hood...a couple Chuck Norris posters couldn't hurt.
Your MAF may be on the way out...P0102 is a MAF low frequency DTC so it is possible to fail within range, causing secondary issue's. Disconnect the MAF (will set a DTC and turn the light on) to force fail over to the MAP sensor and see if things improve. Could possibly be a crank sensor as well given the age.
