Hey guys...I have a 2004 CTS-V with only cold air, magnaflow catback, and LS7 clutch and flywheel...I just picked up a single nozzle NX wet kit...
My questions are-
Do I need to up grade the fuel pump for a 150 shot?
What kind of spark plugs do I put in this thing? (TR-5? TR-55?)
Do I need to retard the timing for a 100-150 shot?
and I guess do you all have any other recommendations before I spray this thing?
Thanks everyone...

Tr6 plugs.. Yes u will have to pull timing.. With ur mods u should be able to get by on the stock pump but I'd Atleast run a boost a pump for insurance. And if u got the money an want to save the hassle of timing and all that look into a stand alone fuel system. Run race gas when spraying.. It would be ideal

Thanks....so if I'm running race gas I don't have to worry about pulling timing? Also doesn't a boost a pump cost more than just getting a walbro 255 and throwing that in the tank? Or does the boost a pump benefit me in other ways?

I'm not talking about race gas in the tank.. That's only gonna make u have to tune the car for it.. I'm talking a small tank(gallon or so) that only comes on when spraying. As far as the pump goes... The pump itself is cheaper but alot of work to do.. Boost a pump is much simpler. At the end of the day all options will work its just u choosing what u want to do.. And get someone to look at ur tune prior to spraying

NGK Br7ef for 150 shot, TR6 for 100 shot.
2 degrees of timing per 50hp.
Make sure you have a WOT switch, window switch, purge, and heater.

I put 30 bottles through my stock V with a 150 shot. Ran BR7EF plugs and pulled 6* of timing.......stock pump. Made 470whp. Sold the car a year ago and still running strong at 130k miles. If you are still running stock motor mounts I can can almost gaurantee they break the first time you spray it. My old thread is on here somewhere with the dyno sheet.
