you're better off replacing the diff bushing with a rev shift/ creative steel one. anything you do is only going to be a band-aid. I have noticed that running 75-140 lubricant in the diff really quiets is down

no, the bottom line is the BMR brace is a bad idea. according to the OG V mechanic. plus it increases gear noise

I can't help, even after reading that thread, if you did that and their anti hop kit w/tr arm brace plus a gen 3 getrag diff if it may be a high horsepower street car option. Of course I would say add a nice revshift ds coupler plus a set of axles.
1500 on diff, 300 bmr parts, 1500 complete axles=3300...which puts you 1400 away from flogging it like you stole it with a cs8.8. But it does save $1400.

My car had one on it when I bought it - 42k on clock, but don't know install history. I took it off and went with cs bushing and block. FWIW - the factory diff bushing looks near new. Diff whined with brace on and now the whine is a bit less. So, I have a brace for sale...
