Yeah, we're in the same boat. I've spent hours reading all of the spring posts and looking at pictures of various drops. I'm happy with the current ride quality, just want a little less wheel gap. Don't think I'll get to suspension mods until next spring. Be sure to post up if you get yours done sooner. Happy to know possibly the spacer mod alone will work in the rear, thought I might have to build a custom one to go along with a cut spring.

I still owe MightyMouse a couple of pictures of my car with his front wheel spacers installed. They do a great job of eliminating the "underbite" (front trackwidth less than rear trackwidth) that this car has. But for now, check out these pictures from the archives:

This was my car in fully stock form. I could've probably off-roading in this car.

And here it is, lowered on Ground Control and MightyMouse spacers.

One more, overlooking the bridge over the Thames.

I just cut off 3/4 on the front and 1 in the back, waiting on the MM spacers to arrive this week so the back might drop a little more, I will post pics tonight. Right now there is a 2 finger gap in the front and a little more in the back.

I just bought my 05 two weeks ago. It looks to be lowered (I'm assuming cut coils because I didn't notice any aftermarket when it was on a lift). I'm getting ready to replace the tires shortly and noticed that the rear are the 245/45/18, but the fronts were 225s. The left front inner fender liner is also missing, so I was wondering if the previous owner would have run a smaller tire due to rubbing? There is about .5" clearance from the bottom of the fender to the top of the tire.

Great look forward to the pics. How is it riding/handling?

I noticed the insides of my fenders are rolled upwards? Is this normal? Maybe a previous owner had it lowered at one point and put it back to stock.

there is rolling then there is folding. on my cars just the lip being bent over isnt enough, i need to fold it up against the inside of the fender.

I plan to buy MM spacers, cut about a coil off the rear and 3/4 a coil off the front just to close a little bit of wheel gap like someone stated a couple posts back. How is the ride quality on cut springs?

Also Mightmouse, I noticed your V was pretty low and if I remember correctly you cut your springs, how was that ride?

I agree, mine feels better than stock, I always had a clunk over bumps and now it just feels solid, I think cutting the bump stops helped. I got my MM spacers yesterday, hope to install them tomorrow night.

I just picked up my 05 v about two weeks ago. I noticed. That the left front inner liner was missing and also the front tires are 225/50/18, instead of the 245/45. My wheel gap is about the size of FuzzyLogic's above. Should I be concerned about replacing it with the 245/45/18, or will it rub?

Back looked a lot better when I first lowered it off the jack stands, anxious to see how it sits with the spacers. Removed 1 spring in the back and 3/4ths of a spring in the front.
