How is the ride quality with the stock shocks? I feel the shocks are not stiff enough for me at high speeds.

Fine enough for me. I wouldnt mind a slightly stiffer rear shock or spring rate. I think its still rather comfortable on decent roads.

The ride is a little more firm then stock shocks and springs, but even with the roads in West Texas I had no major issues with comfort. I did, however, have to start watching the driveways I used...it would scrape the front clip on some.

Great looking cars... I have some of your spacers in my garage waiting on the day....

Hey MM,

I remember an old, old post of yours stating that just installing the kit in the back may drop it without any modification of the spring at all. Did you ever verify or test that out yourself? I remember your logic was that the shock in the back also holds up a share of the car's weight. I'd love a mild drop. H&R's are too low for me all around; daily driver in MN.

i have had customers use it to level the car without even changing springs. actual changes i have not documented and seems to vary.

What are your plans in front? Lose half a coil?

yeah I was thinking somewhere between 1/3 to 1/2 coil up front. I want it to be very streetable and without losing much of the ride quality. I think it just needs to be a notch lower to be perfect IMO. If I have to cut the rear I will probably do 3/4 coil. I went through all the threads of the cut coils where people did up to 1.5 but I don't want to be nearly that low.

^ Keep it as just a thought. Leave the crazy rim colors up to the German car owners.
